For most of my time at PD Productions i worked as a lead artist producing high end animatics within a short timeline. ontop of my responsibilities as lead i also worked on almost every aspect of creating the animatics, including but not limited to; shot setup, modeling, camera setup and animation, directing/running mo-cap sessions, textures and shaders, pflow, lighting, rendering and compositing.

 

Part of what made working in animatics fun, was the variety of styles/stories and the short turnaround. there was always a new problem around the corner, or  a new budget that would have a style to match.

 

All the above work was created using 3DS Max, Mental Ray, and Fusion/Nuke for compositing.
